• Integrate processors, sensors, high-speed digital interfaces, and supporting electronics at the subsystem level
• Support and help define FPGA electrical integration strategies (no RTL required)
• Direct PCB layout activities to ensure signal integrity, EMC/EMI robustness, manufacturability, and compliance
• Lead board bring-up, electrical debug, validation, and root-cause analysis in lab environments
• Develop and implement test plans, validation strategies, and debug methodologies for program hardware
• Drive resolution of electrical issues across prototype and low-rate production builds
• Lead electrical design for SWaP-constrained systems, including power distribution, power integrity, efficiency, and thermal considerations
• Collaborate closely with mechanical, systems, and embedded software teams to ensure effective system-level integration
• Participate in architecture reviews, technical trade studies, and design reviews
• Support DFM/DFT approaches and help transition designs from prototype to manufacturing
• Perform and interpret electrical analysis, modeling, and simulation to reduce technical risk
• Provide mentoring, technical guidance, and constructive design reviews for junior and mid-level engineers
• Work collaboratively with other Staff and Senior Staff engineers to ensure cohesive system-level solutions
