Key responsibilities

  • Own and execute content strategy across multiple brands, identifying opportunities and formats that drive performance.

  • Produce, edit, and publish short-form and long-form content for various channels including social media, email, product pages, and paid ads.

  • Manage the UGC creator program, including sourcing, vetting, onboarding, and overseeing deliverables from creators.

Job description

About us

alt super store is a forward-thinking retailer and brand incubator in the alternative wellness and supplement space. We build innovative consumer brands and a growing portfolio of functional wellness products that challenge conventions and connect with communities seeking modern, plant-powered alternatives.

The Role

We are hiring a Content Lead on a fixed-term basis for the next 3 months with potential conversion to a full-time role based on performance and business conditions as our category portfolio expands through Q4.

You will own content output across several brands, from strategy through production. That starts with identifying where the opportunities are: which formats, channels, and content angles will move the needle for each brand, and in what order.

From there you execute: running our UGC creator program, producing short-form and long-form content, and supplying every channel that consumes content: organic social, email and lifecycle campaigns, product pages, and paid ads. You will also manage a small team of coordinators and interns handling day-to-day posting.

This is a maker-manager-strategist role. You set the content strategy, then execute it: roughly half your week is hands-on production (shooting, editing, writing), and half is running the creator program, calendar, and prioritization. You are the engine that keeps five brands supplied with content, and the system-builder who makes that output repeatable.

What You'll Own

  • Content strategy and opportunity identification. Assess each brand's content landscape and recommend where to focus: which formats, channels, angles, and trends offer the best return on production time. Bring a point of view, back it with data, and adjust based on what performance shows.
  • Content production (short-form and long-form). Shoot, edit, and publish platform-native short-form video (TikTok, Reels, Shorts) and longer formats (YouTube, tutorials, founder/brand storytelling, product explainers). You are hands-on in every step: concepting, filming, editing, and packaging.
  • Content for every channel. Produce and adapt assets for organic social, email and lifecycle campaigns, product pages (photography, demo video, lifestyle imagery), and paid ads (concepts and raw assets into the ad pipeline).
  • UGC creator program (all brands). Source, vet, and onboard creators; negotiate rates; write briefs; manage deliverables; build a documented creator roster.
  • Content calendar and team management. Own the cross-brand content calendar. Manage coordinators/interns posting on brand accounts: cadence, quality control, and training. Keep five brand accounts consistently active without daily oversight from leadership.
  • Content performance reporting. Weekly reporting led by business impact: clicks, attributed sessions, revenue signals, and which content formats drive results.

How We'll Measure Success

  • Content output volume and consistency: assets shipped per week, per brand, per channel
  • Creators onboarded and actively producing, per brand
  • Assets delivered into the ad-creative pipeline per month
  • Posting consistency and calendar adherence across all five brand accounts
  • Leading revenue indicators from content
  • Documentation quality: briefs, templates, SOPs, and creator roster

What We're Looking For

  • 3–5 years producing content for consumer brands, with a portfolio spanning short-form video and preferably at least one long-form format
  • A strategic eye: you can look at a brand and articulate which content opportunities matter most and why, then prove it in the numbers
  • Strong editing skills (CapCut, Premiere, or similar) and competent shooting: you can take a concept from brief to published without a production team if necessary
  • Experience running UGC creators or influencer programs, briefing for both organic and paid
  • Experience producing for multiple channel types: organic social plus at least one of email, product/e-commerce, or paid ads
  • Prior experience managing or coordinating junior staff, interns, or freelancers
  • Strong operational habits: calendars, trackers, briefs, and follow-through without reminders
  • On top of social media trends: you track what's working on TikTok, Reels, and creator content right now, and can move on trends before they peak
  • CPG, DTC, or regulated-category experience is a plus

Nice to Have

  • Existing relationships with wellness or alternative lifestyle creators and publishers
  • Prior experience in CPG/wellness categories
