Hybrid 4 Days a week on-site in either Seattle, WA or Glendale, CA or New York City, NY or Bristol, CT

Our client has an opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer – Ad Intelligence Data Platform on a 12+ month contract. The role joins the Data Platform Engineering group within the Ad Intelligence organization, which provides foundational data infrastructure powering audience solutions, inventory forecasting, operational data systems, and advertising measurement. The team advances advertising through data and AI across streaming and TV platforms.

Rate: $70.00 to $85.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and maintain large-scale data platforms supporting real-time and batch processing.
  • Develop and enhance data pipelines that integrate data from multiple source systems.
  • Build cloud-based big data infrastructure with a focus on scalability, performance, and reliability.
  • Support streaming and batch data applications using modern data technologies.
  • Contribute to architecture, design, implementation, testing, and deployment of data solutions.
  • Drive engineering best practices including CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, and system design standards.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Program Managers, Data Engineers, Researchers, and QA teams.
  • Evaluate and implement emerging technologies across data and AI ecosystems.
Experience Requirements:
  • 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, PySpark, and Java and/or Scala.
  • Experience building and maintaining production-grade data pipelines and integrating data across multiple source systems.
  • Familiarity with large-scale data warehouses and data lakes.
  • Experience with several big data technologies such as Spark, Flink, Kafka, NiFi, SingleStore, and AWS big data services.
  • Experience working within AWS, Azure, or GCP environments and building highly available, enterprise-scale services.
  • Understanding of scalable system design and distributed architectures.
  • Preferred experience with Databricks, processing petabyte-scale datasets, Terraform, Kubernetes, Spinnaker, IAM, ALB, ClickHouse, Druid, Snowflake, Impala, Presto, Kinesis, and full-stack or backend development using Spring Boot, React, Vue, or Angular.
