About the Role
The Clinical Assessor - Admissions works closely with the Program Director to maintain the appropriate number of admissions while providing client-centered care focused on meeting the needs of clients. This role is responsible for conducting intake assessments, preparing admission packets, reviewing referral materials, and ensuring timely assignment of clients to clinicians while supporting efficient program admissions and service delivery.
Responsibilities
Conduct clinical intake assessments for incoming clients
Prepare and complete admission packets for new clients
Review referral materials to ensure appropriate service placement
Coordinate with the Program Director to maintain appropriate admission levels
Ensure timely assignment of clients to clinicians
Maintain accurate documentation and intake records
Support client-centered care practices during the admissions process
Communicate with internal teams regarding client referrals and program capacity
Ensure admissions processes comply with state and contractual requirements
Collaborate with program staff to facilitate smooth onboarding for new clients
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in a Human Services field or related field of study
Prior experience working with children, adolescents, and families in a therapeutic treatment environment in compliance with state and/or contractual requirements
Prior experience conducting clinical intake assessments
CPR and First Aid certification OR willingness and ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications before working with clients
Current driver's license and valid auto insurance
