Job description

Summary:

Our IQVIA team is seeking to hire an experienced Clinical Trials Feasibility Analyst to join an Advanced Analytics group within the Clinical Data Science department. Join this team dedicated to a Pharmaceutical client, focused on efforts in study feasibility analytics. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of relevant experience supporting clinical trial operations as a data analyst on tasks such as study feasibility, design optimization and site selection. Previous experience supporting these types of analytics for clinical trials is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Clinical Operational Strategy by using Python and SQL to query, aggregate, analyze, and derive results from clinical trial operations data.

  • Collaborate with clinical study teams to understand their analytics needs, perform analyses, and report back with tailored results with minimal oversight.

  • Work with real-world data modalities such as Medical Claims, Electronic Health Record data.

  • Use tools or SQL databases to get data and then format and communicate it in a way that study teams can understand the insights.

  • Ensure data quality and integrity through all work.

  • Communicate complex analytical findings in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a field related to data science, engineering, computer science, statistics or machine learning. Working experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in supporting the operational feasibility, design, and analytics of clinical trial operations. Less years of working experience can be considered if the individual can commit to a hybrid work schedule onsite in South San Francisco.

  • Experience working at a Clinical Research Organization or Pharmaceutical company conducting study feasibility and site selection analytics.

  • Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Moderate proficiency in both Python and SQL for data querying, aggregation, and analysis.

  • Experienced in real-world data modalities such as Medical Claims, Electronic Health Record data.

  • Experience communicating country, site, investigator, patient insights, KoL insights and other analysis to clinical trial teams.

  • Solid understanding of clinical development process is expected.

Location: Individuals located in the U.S. or Canada can be considered. Preference for individuals in the west coast time zone.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $88,300.00 - $220,900.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
