Job Description

We are seeking a Lead Business Analyst preferrably with Fraud Analytics experience to evaluate analytical models and coordinate their implementation into a production environment. This person will assess model performance, compare available models, help determine which models should be prioritized, and manage the work required to deploy them successfully.

This role combines data science, data modeling, project management, and analytics. It is not focused exclusively on building models from scratch or writing production code.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate analytical models and assess their performance.
  • Compare models and help determine which should be prioritized for implementation.
  • Coordinate model implementation and deployment activities.
  • Manage timelines, requirements, deliverables, dependencies, and project progress.
  • Work with data science, modeling, technology, and business teams.
  • Analyze model results and translate findings into clear recommendations.
  • Track model performance before and after implementation.
  • Identify implementation issues and coordinate their resolution.
  • Prepare reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Data Science experience.
  • 3+ years of Data Modeling experience involving model implementation, deployment, and evaluation.
  • 3+ years of Project Management experience.
  • 3+ years of Analytics experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with fraud analytics or fraud models.
  • Experience building or deploying fraud detection rules.
  • Payments or card-industry experience.
  • Familiarity with Mastercard products or models.
  • Financial services experience.
  • Experience with card-network mandates and issuer-side implementation.
