Job description

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
NIKE's Marketplace Investigations Team (MPI) is a specialized team focused on addressing organized theft networks targeting NIKE's supply chain, factory partners, and marketplace. This role reports to the Director, Marketplace Investigations, and partners closely with Brand Protection, Grey Market Management, Loss Prevention, Supply Chain Security, Product Design, and other areas of the NIKE organization as needed.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a highly motivated, analytically strong professional who is comfortable using technology, investigative tools, and NIKE data sources to identify patterns, connect evidentiary points, and support timely investigative decision-making.
The ideal candidate brings strong analytical judgment, intellectual curiosity, and a disciplined approach to case support in a fast-paced environment. This role is well suited for someone who can work through complex data, assess developing risk, and support investigations involving theft, fraud, diversion, and other marketplace threats. Success in the role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, clear written and verbal communication, a high level of organization, sound case management practices, and the ability to translate information into actionable insight.
  • Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, business, supply chain, intelligence, data analytics, or a related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training.
  • Demonstrated 3 years' experience in investigations, intelligence analysis, supply chain security, fraud analysis, loss prevention, corporate security, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and technical acumen, including the ability to work through large datasets, identify patterns and anomalies, and develop actionable leads.
  • Familiarity with OSINT methodologies, link analysis, deep web research, and other investigative research techniques that support case development.
  • Ability to assess time-sensitive information and support response activity related to theft, fraud, diversion, product loss, or other marketplace risk events.
  • Strong partnership skills across cross-functional teams, including Brand Protection, Grey Market Management, Loss Prevention, Supply Chain Security, and Product Design.
  • Strong documentation, organizational, and case support skills, including the ability to summarize findings clearly, maintain investigative records, and escalate issues appropriately.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
You will support NIKE's Marketplace Investigations capability at PHK by helping enable and operationalize technology and data across NIKE's marketplace to detect, deter, and investigate theft and fraud events affecting NIKE product and intellectual property.
You will contribute to investigative and analytical efforts that strengthen NIKE's ability to identify risk, prioritize response, and support coordinated action across internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • You will support operational processes, monitoring and analysis of GPS-related incidents and alerts, helping identify events that may require escalation, investigative follow-up, or cross-functional coordination.
  • You will use investigative tools, internal data, and external research methods to identify patterns, trends, anomalies, and links associated with theft, fraud, diversion, and other marketplace risks.
  • You will help develop analytical leads by combining case information, shipment or alert data, OSINT research, link analysis, and contextual investigative support.
  • You will support case development and incident response by documenting findings, maintaining organized records, and preparing concise summaries for internal stakeholders and investigative partners.
  • You will partner closely with Brand Protection, Grey Market Management, Loss Prevention, Supply Chain Security, Product Design, and other stakeholders to support coordinated investigative activity.
  • You will help strengthen MPI's use of enabling technology and data to improve visibility to risk and enhance protection of NIKE product and IP.
  • You will support broader investigations involving external theft and fraud activity, while also contributing analytical support to sensitive matters involving internal threat considerations when needed.
