Job Location Frank Motors (Toyota, Hyundai, Subaru) - National City, CA

Cashier employment opportunity with Frank Motors located in National City, California. 

Become part of a strong service team at one of San Diego’s largest and most respected group of dealerships, which includes Frank Toyota, Frank Subaru, and Frank Hyundai.  This is a great opportunity to work with an industry leader known for its friendly and welcoming environment, exceptional customer service, and large and loyal customer base.  Our cashiers take payments from our parts and service customers, receive and make phone calls for our service departments, booking service appointments, remind customers of their upcoming appointments, process VIP rewards, filing, and handle rental transactions.  We are looking for cashiers who are enthusiastic, honest, hard-working, organized, have great phone skills, and are committed to great customer service.  We have different shifts available with at least two Saturdays per month required. Our Cashier salaries depend on experience and abilities. 

Pay: $16.00-$20.00 per hour

Frank Motors, which includes Frank Toyota, Frank Subaru, and Frank Hyundai is a family owned and operated group of dealerships in National City, California.  Located less than 20 minutes from most areas of San Diego, Frank Motors has been in the automotive business since 1965.  Frank Motors is highly respected in the automotive industry and the ownership is involved in improving the industry both on a local and statewide level. Frank dealerships have won the JD Powers Excellence award recently and have received the highest accolades from the manufacturers. Frank Motors believes in helping the local communities and is involved in many charitable organizations, including Big Brother, Big Sister, Humble, and the Rady’s Children’s Hospital. With three great carlines, a large, loyal customer base, and great employees, Frank Motors continues to outpace the local competition. 

Some of What You’ll do:

The Cashier supports our Toyota store by providing excellent customer service, processing customer payments for service and parts, and providing other departmental support as needed. This position is full-time and regularly includes evening and Saturday hours. The essential functions include, but are not limited to:

  • Calculate the customer’s bill using the dealerships computer system.
  • Receive cash, checks and credit card payments from customers and record the amount received on the repair order and/or counter ticket.
  • Make change accurately and issue receipts to customers.
  • Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer customers to the appropriate individual for resolution.
  • Filing (Service Repair Orders, Parts Counter Tickets).
  • May perform other duties as assigned by ownership, upper management, and/or immediate supervisor.
