Are you passionate about helping entrepreneurs succeed? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment where your work directly shapes the future of a brand? We are an exciting, emerging franchise concept on a rapid growth trajectory — and we're looking for a driven Franchise Business Consultant (FBC) to help us take it to the next level.
This is a rare chance to get in early with a brand that is building momentum, opening new locations across the country, and committed to increasing company-wide Average Unit Volume (AUV). You won't just be consulting — you'll be helping shape the systems, culture, and success stories that define our franchise network for years to come.
Role Summary
The Franchise Business Consultant serves as the primary point of contact between the franchisor and its franchisee network. You will build strong, trusted relationships with franchisees, drive operational excellence, support new store development, and help each location reach its full sales and profitability potential.
Key Responsibilities
Franchisee Relationship Management

•        Conduct weekly scheduled calls with franchisees to review performance metrics, address concerns, and provide operational guidance
•        Build genuine, trust-based relationships that motivate franchisees to follow brand standards and invest in their locations
•        Serve as a strategic partner and resource, helping franchisees problem-solve and grow their businesses
New Store Development & Construction

•        Actively support the construction and build-out of new franchise locations from site selection through grand opening
•        Coordinate with franchisees, contractors, and internal teams to ensure new stores open on time, on budget, and to brand standards
•        Assist franchisees through the pre-opening process including training, equipment setup, and initial staffing plans
Operations & Brand Standards

•        Conduct regular in-person and virtual location audits to assess compliance with brand standards, food safety, and operational procedures
•        Identify performance gaps and work collaboratively with franchisees to develop and execute improvement plans
•        Drive initiatives to increase AUV across the franchise system through best-practice sharing and performance coaching
Marketing Support

•        Guide franchisees in the execution of local marketing plans and brand campaigns, including app-based promotions and loyalty programs
•        Support grand opening and re-engagement marketing efforts to drive traffic and build a local customer base
•        Collaborate with internal marketing teams to relay franchisee feedback and localize national campaigns effectively
Growth & Strategy

•        Actively participate in brand growth initiatives, contributing insights from the field to support strategic decisions
•        Identify and help develop top-performing franchisees as candidates for multi-unit growth
•        Represent the brand with professionalism and enthusiasm at franchise events, conferences, and discovery days
Qualifications
Required

•        Minimum 3–5 years of experience in franchising, either as a Franchise Business Consultant, field operations role, or similar capacity
•        Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with franchise owners and hold them accountable to brand standards
•        Experience supporting or managing new store openings and construction build-outs
•        Solid understanding of restaurant/food service operations and P&L management
•        Strong communication skills — equally effective on weekly calls, in-person visits, and written reporting
•        Willingness and ability to travel throughout the United States (up to 50%)
•        Must live in or be willing to relocate to the Salt Lake City, Utah area
Preferred

•        Experience in a high-growth, emerging franchise brand environment
•        Background in restaurant or food & beverage franchising
•        Familiarity with the Toast POS system and digital marketing platforms
•        Experience supporting franchisee marketing, including app-based promotions and loyalty programs
What We Offer
•        A ground-floor opportunity to grow with an exciting emerging brand
•        Competitive base salary + performance-based bonus tied to franchisee AUV growth
•        Benefits reimbursement
•        Mileage reimbursement and travel expense coverage
•        A collaborative, entrepreneurial culture that values your ideas and rewards results
