The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for executing and deploying marketing initiatives across key brand channels, including Social Media, Email, Website Management and Local Restaurant Marketing.

This role serves as a primary liaison between Marketing, restaurant operators, franchisees and internal partners. The Marketing Coordinator owns projects from planning and intake through execution and reporting, ensuring marketing initiatives are delivered effectively and aligned with brand objectives.

Key Challenges: 

  • Managing multiple markets channels, projects and stakeholder requests simultaneously while maintaining execution quality and brand standards.
  • Balancing the needs of restaurant operators, franchisees and internal stakeholders against brand priorities and available resources.

What you will do in this role:

Social Media Management (25%)

  • Develop and maintain monthly social media content calendars across all brand channels.
  • Create, coordinate and publish content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and emerging platforms.
  • Write engaging, on-brand social media copy and captions.
  • Manage community engagement, including monitoring and responding to comments, messages and guest inquiries.
  • Execute paid social boosting initiatives in support of brand campaigns and business objectives.
  • Monitoring competitor activity, industry trends and cultural moments to identify relevant opportunities.
  • Coordinate content creation opportunities, including native social content where appropriate.
  • Track channel performance and provide recommendations for optimization.

Local Restaurant Marketing (25%)

  • Manage Local Restaurant Marketing requests from intake through execution and reporting.
  • Consult with franchisees, operators and internal stakeholders to understand business objectives and marketing needs.
  • Coordinate project timelines, approvals, creative development and asset delivery.
  • Work closely with Designers, Videographers, Media Partners and other vendors to execute approved initiatives.

Email Marketing & CRM (20%)

  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Strong written communication and copywriting skills with the ability to adapt messaging to different channels and audiences.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, community management and content planning.
  • Ability to analyze campaign performance, identify insights and make recommendations based on data.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance across all marketing touchpoints.
  • Experience with hospitality, restaurant, retail, franchise or consumer-facing brands is considered an asset.

Education/Professional Credentials

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field preferred (or equivalent practical experience).
