Job Summary
At Vision Integrated Partners, we are a busy ophthalmology practice seeking an experienced Optical Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The position of Optical Sales Associate requires the individual to meet the Basic Requirements and satisfactorily perform all or any combination of the Tasks and Responsibilities (listed below). This role focuses on customer service, sales support, and assisting patients with eyewear selection while supporting the overall operations of the optical department.
This is a Monday - Friday, day shift position with No weekends and No holidays!
*** This position will require traveling to multiple Kansas City locations ***

  • Greet patients and visitors courteously and professionally

  • Provide information regarding optical products, pricing, and promotions
  • Maintain accurate patient and sales records
  • Assist with purchasing, stocking, and maintaining frame inventory
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the optical area
  • Assist with daily reports, including basic sales and cash flow documentation

Requirements
Experience Requirements
  • A minimum of one (1) year previous retail, sales, or customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to assist customers with eyewear selection based on comfort, lifestyle, and budget
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • High degree of reliability, dependability, and accuracy

  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks

Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum High School graduate or equivalent
  • Preferably previous retail, sales, or customer service experience or training
  • Preferably previous medical office or insurance experience or training

  • Ability to establish and maintain positive patient rapport
  • High degree of reliability, dependability, and accuracy
