We are seeking to replace our top body shop technician, who is retiring after 23 years of dedicated service. This is a prime opportunity to join our team and build upon a legacy of excellence in a high-demand field. 

A dealership body shop technician repairs and restores vehicle exteriors by removing dents, replacing parts, and repainting, often using specialized tools and equipment like frame straightening machines and paint booths.

Full Time Job –

  • ANNUAL RATE $80,000 - $160,000
  • Flat Rate

Responsibilities

  • Repairing damaged body parts on vehicles according to dealership and factory specifications.
  • Restoring vehicles to pre-accident or like-new condition.
  • Performing tasks such as sanding, painting, and using frame straightening equipment.
  • Aligning frames to manufacturer specifications.
  • Working with other repairers in a team environment.
  • Estimating repair costs and managing parts replacement.  

 

Skills and qualifications

  • Successful completion of a technical school program or apprenticeship is often preferred.
  • Experience in collision repair is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with tools and equipment, such as frame machines, paint booths, and welding gear.
