Job Title: Senior Fragrance Evaluator

Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL

FLSA Status: Exempt

Position Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Fragrance Evaluator to join our Fragrance Evaluation team. This role is responsible for leading the evaluation, selection, and development of innovative fragrance solutions for customers across multiple product categories, including Fine Fragrance, Personal Care, Hair Care, Home Care, and Wellness.

The Senior Fragrance Evaluator will work closely with Perfumers, Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, Technical Services, and Application teams to develop fragrances that align with customer objectives, market trends, and consumer preferences. This position requires strong olfactive expertise, excellent project management skills, and the ability to present fragrance recommendations and concepts directly to clients while managing multiple customer projects in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead fragrance evaluation and development activities for customer projects across multiple product categories.
  • Evaluate fragrance submissions and provide olfactive direction and recommendations to Perfumers.
  • Develop fragrance strategies that align with customer briefs, brand positioning, market trends, and consumer insights.
  • Present fragrance recommendations, fragrance stories, and olfactive concepts to customers.
  • Manage multiple customer briefs while ensuring timely project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Perfumery, Regulatory, Technical Services, and Application teams throughout the fragrance development process.
  • Monitor fragrance trends, competitive products, and emerging beauty brands to identify opportunities for innovation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Participate in customer meetings, fragrance presentations, market visits, and industry trade shows as needed.
  • Support business development initiatives by identifying fragrance opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior evaluators while contributing to the continued growth of the Evaluation team.
