Description
  • Perform frac hit prevention and remediation on producing wells
  • Monitor offset wells before, during, and after nearby frac operations
  • Closely monitor and document well pressures and operating conditions
  • Identify abnormal pressure changes or production conditions associated with frac activity
  • Coordinate and supervise flowback operations following frac activity
  • Assist with well shut-ins, startups, pressure management, and returning wells to normal production
  • Inspect wells and production equipment for operational issues resulting from frac activity
  • Troubleshoot production and equipment issues in the field
  • Communicate well conditions, pressure changes, and operational concerns to field leadership
  • Coordinate with production, completions, flowback, and other field personnel as required
  • Maintain accurate field documentation and operational reports
  • Follow all company and client safety, environmental, and operating procedures

Requirements
  • Previous oil and gas production operations experience required
  • Strong understanding of wellhead equipment, production equipment, pressures, and well operations
  • Experience with frac defense, frac hit remediation, flowback, completions support, or offset-well monitoring strongly preferred
  • Ability to recognize abnormal well conditions and respond appropriately
  • Comfortable working independently across a large geographic field area
  • Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple field crews
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Ability to work a rotating 8 days on / 6 days off schedule with 10-hour days
