Office of Commission Clerk: The Office of Commission Clerk is the official keeper of the FPSC public records and consists of two sections: the Documents and Case Management Section and the Events and Hearing Reporting Section.

Description of Job Duties: The Commission Deputy Clerk I position is within the Office of the Commission Clerk. The incumbent's duties and responsibilities are as follows:

  • Receives and processes over-the-counter filings and documents
  • Answer main telephone line, assist and route calls
  • Review Records Clerk email, conduct research and respond to request, or route as appropriate
  • Receive, convert, print, scan, and enter descriptions for correspondence in Case Management System
  • Conduct microfilm research and digitize microfilm

Minimum Qualifications: Four years secretarial or clerical work experience. College education from an accredited institution can substitute at the rate of 30 semester or 45 quarter hours per year for the required work experience. One year of legal experience is preferred.
