Duties * You will construct, maintain, install, modify, and/or repair various electrical wiring systems, electrical controls, electrically operated equipment and instruments, and light/heavy electrical machinery. * You will install, maintain, and repair public address, annunciator, and other communications systems. * You will test and repair electrical equipment and appliances. * You will answer all electrical emergency calls, making a decision as to what repairs and/or installations are needed and performing the necessary work. The Screen-out Element for this position is: ABILITY TO DO THE WORK OF an ELECTRICIAN , WG-2805-10 without more than normal supervision such as: * Reading and interpreting sketches, blueprints, schematics, and other engineering specifications pertaining to electrical systems; * Constructing, maintaining, modifying and repairing electric power and lighting systems and all associated circuits; * Applying knowledge of ohmmeters, ammeters, voltmeters, phase rotation meters, industrial analyzers, and recording ammeters; AND * Installing raceways, supports, electrical wiring, switches, outlets, fuse boxes, meters, indicating or recording instruments, light fixtures, electric motors, transformers and appliances.
