Job description

Create Fascination: Your Responsibilities
  • Develop PLD/FPGA solutions for embedded systems used in aerospace applications
  • Perform and coordinate tasks related to the development of complex firmware applications with a wide range of functions, including support through certification
  • Develop and coordinate complex firmware applications
  • Implement technical requirements and detailed specifications for the optimal use of hardware architecture, electronic assemblies, and FPGA control systems
  • Define, program, commission, and test Board Support Packages (BSPs) for electronic control units and/or applications
  • Coordinate task content and timelines with relevant stakeholders
  • Conduct PLD/FPGA reviews for requirements analysis as well as conceptual and detailed design
  • Evaluate, document, and communicate verification results
  • Create, review, and assess safety concepts and safety analyses
  • Develop test strategies
  • Collaborate within interdisciplinary development teams
Bring Your Strengths: Your Qualifications
  • Successfully completed degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a comparable qualification
  • Experience in PLD firmware development within the aerospace industry
  • Proven experience in embedded systems development
  • Proven experience with PLD/FPGA technologies and FPGA development tools (e.g. Microsemi, Xilinx, Altera, Libero)
  • Experience with model-based software development methods and tools (e.g. MATLAB/Simulink) is desirable
  • Knowledge of PLD/FPGA verification, preferably using Modelsim or RivieraPro
  • Experience in aerospace PLD/FPGA development according to RTCA DO-254 is considered an advantage
  • Ability to work effectively in development teams within an agile framework
