Experienced Line Cooks

Pay Range: $23.00 โ€“ $25.00 per hour (based on experience and skills)

Fox Hopyard Golf Club is seeking experienced Line Cooks for On the Rocks, our seasonal, full-time restaurant. On the Rocks is part of a highly regarded event venue and private 18-hole golf course. With a newly renovated dining room, a casual tavern, and a spacious outdoor patio, we are proud to deliver high-quality dining experiences to our members and guests by sourcing ingredients from local farmers and suppliers.

About the Role

Line cooks are the backbone of the kitchen. Youโ€™ll run a station on the cooking โ€œlineโ€ โ€” whether thatโ€™s grilling, sautรฉing, frying, or plating โ€” and make sure each dish is prepared consistently, safely, and on time. The role includes both daily restaurant service and preparing food for larger catered events.

If youโ€™ve worked as a grill cook, sautรฉ cook, fry cook, station cook, or banquet cook, you likely have the skills to succeed here.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare food orders to specification for both a la carte dining and catered events

  • Adhere to food safety standards and maintain a sanitary work environment

  • Assist with inventory management and stock rotation

  • Complete prep lists and assigned tasks on time

  • Support team members with flexibility and cooperation

  • Exhibit a positive attitude, dependability, and courtesy toward coworkers, members, and guests

  • Be available for overtime if needed during peak business periods

Preferred Qualifications
  • ServSafe certification (recommended)

  • Experience with grill, sautรฉ, and catering operations
