Post-Production Intern:

Weigel Broadcasting in Chicago, IL, is offering an exciting internship opportunity for creative college students to gain experience with producing daily television and hands on responsibilities. All interns will receive an hourly rate of pay; Weigel Broadcasting co. does not subsidize housing.


About the Role:

Work alongside a dynamic production staff

Provide hands-on support to both program and post-production staff

Rotate between the video editing and graphics department to organize, assist, and create original material

Work directly under the guidance of the department heads


What You'll Doย 

Manage and organize graphics and edit projects

Coordinate between editors, writers, graphics team, and producers

Complete short video edits for Weigel Productions and studioย 

Research and prepare video and graphic assets within the in-house archive, while utilizing third party archives

Deliver finished projects and visual materials within established deadlines

Other duties, as assignedย 


What You'll Bringย 

Must be able to commit 20 hours per week to the internship in person

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program

Highly organized, detail oriented, and have a passion for visual storytelling

Familiarity of Adobe Creative Cloud Suiteย 

ย ย ย -Premiere Pro and basic editing fundamentals

ย ย ย -Basic animation fundamentals

ย ย ย -Motion graphics techniques using Adobe After Effects CC
