Job description

Job Details:Job Description: Defines, designs, and develops complex radio frequency integrated circuits and creates verification test plans for RF validation in Process Design Kits. Conducts transistor level feasibility analysis, defines floorplan and layout for RF circuit architecture, creates test benches, and verifies and debugs design to meet the desired specifications. Reviews system specifications and design plans to ensure that designs meet customer needs and is compliant with applicable codes, standards, and regulations. Designs new product concepts and prototypes, creates detailed drawings of circuit designs, and develops and analyzes test procedures. Applies understanding of electromagnetic theory, communication theory, radio frequency test equipment, RF and wireless circuit design, RF system analysis, RF system block characterization, and Lab RF Measurements, sil2sim, sim2sim, Data Collection, Analysis and Reporting.Qualifications:

You must possess the below requirements to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum qualifications:

  • MS degree with 3+ years of experience or PhD degree with 1+ years of experience in Computer/Electrical Engineering or related engineering field.

  • Experience with Design and Testing Integrated Circuits with fundamentals in AMS/RF

  • Experience Device Physics and knowledge of Advanced IC Technologies

  • Experience working with Process Design Kits and Collaterals development

  • Experience with Cadence Virtuoso, Siemens and/or Synopsys IC Design tools

  • Familiar with two or more of the following: Unix Shell, Python, Skill, Tcl, Pcell, Ocean scripting


Preferred qualifications:
2+ years of experience in the following:

  • Design Automation and CAD experience

  • Experience working on INTEL foundry Process Design Kits and GAA technologies

  • Experience with Analog/RF circuit simulation and running drc/lvs/ext/fill flows in custom CMOS designs

  • Lab experience with high frequency instruments such as VNA, Oscilloscope, or Spectrum Analyzer

  • Applications: LabView or Matlab, Statistical analysis tools (JMP)

  • RF/mmWave circuits (PA, LNA, VCO) and/or AMS (DAC/ADC)

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $141,910.00-269,100.00 USDThe range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations.
