About This Role

We are looking for a few committed assistant teachers to complement our team. You will be responsible for assisting in preparation on implementing a full educational teaching plan according to the school's requirements. It will be fundamental to provide knowledge and instruction to children while also helping them develop their personalities and skills. The ideal candidate will be passionate for children with an ability to reach out to children and create a relationship of mutual trust. Knows how to organize a classroom and make learning an easy and meaningful process.


What You'll Do
  • Assist the lead teacher with implementing educational lesson plans according to school requirements.
  • Help provide children with age-appropriate knowledge, instruction, and activities.
  • Support children's social, emotional, and developmental growth.
  • Build positive relationships with children based on trust and respect.
  • Help maintain an organized, safe, and welcoming classroom.
  • Assist with creating meaningful and enjoyable learning experiences.
  • Provide support during after-care activities.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • 45 hours DCF child care training
  • Thorough knowledge of teaching best practices and legal educational guidelines partnered with a willingness to follow the school's policies and procedures.
