Education
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, hospitality, English or related field preferred.

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in hospitality, sales, or relationship building in a non-profit environment, healthcare environment. Must have excellent customer service skills, attention to detail and superior organizational skills.

Position Summary
The Donor Relations Coordinator works under the direction of the Donor Relations Director in providing assistance to current and potential donors, relationship building with internal and external constituents, and collaborating with Foundation team members.
  • Other responsibilities and qualifications include, but are not limited to:
  • Become well-versed in hospital services and amenities offered.
  • Provide administrative support to Donor Relations team.
  • Provide tours and collateral packets to prospective and existing donors.
  • Ability to write, edit and produce professional correspondence and communications.
  • Provide high quality donor experience with empathetic problem-solving resolutions.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, establish priorities and maintain flexibility.
  • Must be well-polished individual to meet with high-end donors and prospective donors.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and experience with Raiser's Edge preferable.
  • Maintain accurate and consistent entries to database.
  • Maintain calendars for Donor Relations team, including setting appointments and making specific meeting arrangements.
  • Prepare monthly expense reports.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deliver results under tight deadlines.
  • Must be detailed-oriented and ability to work well both individually and as part of a team.
  • Participates in monthly call rotation.
  • Supports Special projects and events.
  • Performs other Duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements
