Job Description

• Perform thorough patient assessments, encompassing physical exams and in-depth reviews of medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and lab results
• Collaborate intimately with surgeons to develop and implement patient-oriented surgical treatment plans
• Provide essential intraoperative support, including setting up operating rooms, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and efficiently passing surgical instruments during operations
• Extend outstanding pre- and post-operative care, covering medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations focused on surgical practice strongly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
