UPM Adhesive Materials is looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join our team in Mills River, North Carolina.

What you will do

  • Manage and develop an assigned portfolio of customers, supporting sales growth, profitability, and product mix in line with business goals

  • Build strong relationships with existing customers and identify new business opportunities through proactive account planning, customer engagement, and value-based selling activities

  • Conduct regular customer outreach, business reviews, and sales campaigns, while maintaining accurate customer, opportunity, and activity information in CRM and other sales systems

  • Work closely with Customer Service, Technical Support, and other internal teams to provide effective customer support and a seamless customer experience

  • Monitor account performance, profitability, and accounts receivable, taking appropriate action to address risks, overdue balances, and growth opportunities

  • Gather and share insights on customer needs, market developments, competitor activities, and industry trends to support business growth and decision-making

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to execute customer growth plans, support team objectives, promote digital solutions, and represent UPM at industry events and trade shows when needed

Who you are

  • You have relevant commercial education or equivalent experience, with an interest in technical products and solutions

  • You have experience in sales, customer service, or another customer-facing role, ideally in a B2B environment

  • You have knowledge of the packaging or labeling industry, which is considered an advantage

  • You have strong communication, relationship-building, and networking skills

  • You have commercial awareness and confidence in phone-based sales and customer interactions

  • You have experience using CRM systems and digital sales tools

  • You are able to collaborate effectively with customers and cross-functional teams

  • You are organized and proactive in managing multiple priorities

  • You are motivated to identify opportunities and deliver value to customers

  • You have fluency in Spanish, which is considered an asset
