Summary of Job Duties:
The Extra Help/Forum Staff position is responsible for writing, editing, or otherwise contributing to the publication of the Forum. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency policy.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Degree-seeking UA Little Rock students enrolled in classes at the time of application;
  • Eligible to legally work 20 hours per week in the United States;
  • The formal equivalent of a high school diploma.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Forum Employee.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Forum Staff will write material for the Forum publication;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong writing skills;
  • Ability to communicate effectively;
  • Knowledge of journalism ethics and practices.
