The City Forum and Varsity Pins are looking for dependable, hard-working Kitchen Team Members/Cooks to join our Back-of-House team in Clarksville, TN. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, takes pride in food quality, and can help keep the kitchen clean, organized, and ready for service. Kitchen Team Members help prepare food for guests across The City Forum's Streatery and Varsity Pins while following recipes, food-safety standards, and company procedures. What You'll Do - Prepare food according to recipes, portion standards, and quality expectations - Complete daily prep tasks and help keep kitchen operations ready for service - Cook and plate menu items accurately and efficiently - Stock stations with fresh products and needed supplies - Monitor labels, expiration dates, and product rotation - Follow Tennessee Department of Health standards for food handling and storage - Maintain clean and sanitized workstations, equipment, and tools - Communicate with kitchen leadership, expo, and team members during service - Support party and event food orders as needed - Report food-quality, equipment, or safety concerns to a supervisor - Follow company standards, policies, and procedures during each shift What We're Looking For - Must be at least 18 years old - Ability to work part-time hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays - Positive attitude and willingness to learn - Ability to stay organized and work with urgency in a fast-paced kitchen - Basic food-prep or kitchen experience preferred, but not required - Ability to follow recipes, directions, and food-safety standards - Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds - Dependable attendance and strong teamwork Schedule and Pay - Part-time, entry-level position - Approximately 20-25 hours per week - Evening, night, weekend, and holiday availability required - Closed Easter, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day - $15-$17 per hour, based on experience Benefits and Perks - Paid training - Dental and vision coverage - Employee Assistance Program - Employee Referral Program - Employee discounts - Supportive team environment - Growth opportunities within Project 2231 About Project 2231 Project 2231 is a family-owned hospitality and entertainment company in Clarksville, TN.
