Ron CRAFT Chevrolet CadilSonic Automotive is a multi-billion dollar Fortune 500 company and one of the largest automotive dealer groups in the country with 100+ dealerships nationwide across 25 brands.

Compensation (Draw / Commission): $100k - $160k / yr

Job Description

Summary:

The Sales Manager will be responsible for the sales success of the dealership by effectively managing the staff, planning and developing short and long term goals, and meeting the objectives set by upper management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Make a monthly projection of the vehicle requirements by department for the immediate 90-day sales period.
  • Determine monthly and yearly forecasts in terms of unit sales, gross profit objectives, and departmental profits.
  • Forecast monthly with each salesperson to establish objectives in terms of the number and type of customers coming into the dealership, closing percentages in each category, time utilization, prospecting efforts, unit sales, and projected income.
  • Recommend procedures for short-and long-range advertising, sales promotions, staffing needs, lease promotions, compensation plans, customer complaints, salespersons' evaluations, and car rentals.
  • Meet with each salesperson to conduct sales meetings to review results and today's plan of action.
  • Provide on the job training for salespeople, review monthly commission sheets, productivity reports, salespersons' monthly forecast, and profit performance with the Dealer by salesperson and as a department.
  • Maintain a balanced vehicle inventory and establish a program for moving inventory.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of Sales Manager experience in an automotive dealership.
  • Proven experience managing and leading a high-performance sales team.
  • Strong coaching and training abilities to develop and grow a sales team.
  • Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
  • All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver license.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • F&I experience
  • 3+ years of Sales Manager experience in an automotive dealership.
