Advanced Management Strategies Group (AMSG) is seeking a Military Analyst/Operations Research and Systems Analysis (ORSA) Specialist to support the G-5 within the Aviation Center of Excellence (AVCOE) G-5 Directorate.

Location: Fort Rucker, Alabama
Education: Bachelor's degree required
Experience: Must have at least 10 years of experience as a Planner/Military Analyst in Army Aviation. Expertise may come from rotary wing, fixed wing, or unmanned aerial systems (UAS) operations.
Clearance Requirement: Secret
Scope: The Military Analyst/ORSA will provide expert business, analytical, and technical support to the AVCOE G-5, directly contributing to the achievement of its strategic goals. By supporting the five core lines of effort: Aviation Enterprise Synchronization, Strategic Communication Alignment, Future Aviation Capability Input, Strengthened Foreign Liaison Program, and Proactive Strategic Planning Cycle.
Responsibilities include:
  • Support operational planning for Army Aviation initiatives.
  • Assist in long-range strategic planning cycles and enterprise-wide coordination.
  • Provide analytical input to future aviation capability development.
  • Help plan and execute Aviation Enterprise Synchronization events.
  • Coordinate across multiple installations (Fort Rucker, Fort Eustis, Fort Huachuca).
  • Prepare decision briefs, white papers, information papers, and read-ahead materials.
  • Develop and deliver executive-level briefings for senior Army Aviation leaders.
  • Organize and support major planning conferences, strategic meetings, and synchronization forums.
  • Track meeting actions and distribute minutes.
  • Assist the G-5 in aligning messaging across the Aviation Enterprise.

Qualifications:
  • Must have experience as a qualified Army Functional Area 49 (Army Operations Research/System Analysis) or equivalent.
  • Must be an energetic collaborator who can integrate people from different teams and echelons, clearly articulate project outcomes, track deliverables and project status, and brief on overall project status.
  • Experience stemming from service at the Aviation Center of Excellence (AVCOE), Combined Arms Center (CAC), Transformation & Training Command (T2COM), Training & Doctrine Command (TRADOC), or Army Futures Command (AFC) is preferred.
  • Preferably have served previously in the AVCOE DOTD, or as a Capability Manager, or Army
