Job description

Job: UH-60 L/M Instructor Pilot / Maintenance Examiner

Location: Fort Rucker, Alabama

Position: Full time

There is no active opening at this time. We do collect resumes to have on hand if a position comes open.

Duties: Instruct and evaluate graduate level flight students in the UH-60 L Maintenance Test Pilot Programs of Instruction at the U.S. Army Aviation Center of Excellence, Fort Rucker, AL. Duties include classroom, inflight, and simulator training; preparing daily briefings; teaching academic topics; conducting pre-flight, inflight, and post-flight instruction; and documenting student performance in flight training records. Flight instruction will be during the day and night and may include contact, basic combat skills, instrument, and night vision goggle phases of training. Instruction also includes pre-mission planning, mission briefings, rehearsals, and maintenance test flight operations. The end-state is to prepare students to perform end of phase flight evaluations on aircraft systems, aircraft operations, emergency procedures, maintenance test flight procedures, and regulatory guidance.

Additional Duties: Maintain individual proficiency in the aircraft, simulator, aviation procedures, Programs of Instruction, and complete annual contractor evaluation requirements.

Required:

• Current FAA Class II Medical

• Current FAA Commercial Rotorcraft Certificate

• UH-60 L Aircraft Qualification

• Graduate of the Army UH-60 IPC/MOI Course

• Graduate of the Army Maintenance Test Pilot Course

• UH-60 Maintenance Examiner Experience
