Description:
Operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment to demonstrate anatomical or physiological structures of the human body for diagnostic purposes.
Produce quality images as directed by radiologists and physicians for the diagnosis or treatment of anatomic or physiologic disorders.
Demonstrate knowledge of technical factors relevant to ultrasound imaging.
Function effectively in a teamwork-oriented atmosphere within the department.
Perform general abdominal sonography, vascular sonography including Doppler, ABIs, and segmental pressure exams.
Conduct OB/GYN sonography and small parts sonography on all populations.
Produce ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for use by physicians.
Participate in weekend call rotation as needed.
