Job description

DESCRIPTION: HIGH SCHOOL COACHING POSITIONS
QUALIFICATIONS:

 Meets IHSA standards for said assignment.  Possesses experience in activity, preferably as a high school and/or college participant. Should have prior experience as assistant or head coach in the assigned sport
REPORTS TO: Director of Athletics
JOB GOAL:  All assistant coaches and athletes involved in his/her activity.  To instruct athletes in the fundamental skills, strategy and physical training necessary for them to realize a degree of individual and team success. At the same time, the student shall receive instruction that will lead to the formulation of moral values, pride of accomplishment, acceptable social behavior, self-discipline, and self-confidence
COMPENSATION:  Commensurate with experience; governed by LEA Collective Bargaining Agreement
