Job description

Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and manufacture of products across many different industries. Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily lives are being conceived and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.
Position Overview:
As a Developer specializing in Build Tooling, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing Developer solutions in Teamcenter to solve complex problems. You will work closely with our team of experienced developers to design, build, and deploy Build Tooling that drive value for our Developers. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into Build Tooling solutions.
  • Design and develop Build Tooling solutions to address specific business challenges.
  • Implement and optimize the Build Tooling to maximize performance.
  • Evaluate Build Tooling performance and conduct experiments to improve accuracy, scalability, and efficiency.
  • Deploy Build Tooling enhancements into production environments and monitor their performance in real-world scenarios.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Build Tooling technologies and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
  • Proficiency/Knowledge in Python. JAVA, C++, .NET, Node.js is good to have.
  • Familiarity with Build Tooling frameworks such as Bazel or Gradle is good to have.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

The pay range for this position is 90,000 - 162,000 annually with a target incentive of 3-5 of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
