Forklift

Wage: $18.00/hour

Shift: 2nd

Hours: 02:30 pm - 11:30 pm

Forklift Responsibilities:

- Supply packaging line with boxes and product necessary to run lines

- Accurately record case totals on pallets

- Record used and unused product and return product to warehouse

- Fill out forklift checklist with needed information of daily inspection of forklift

- Examine schedule for the shift and what types of production will be running

- Place product on depal so depal operator can fill the line prior to start up

- Pull finished pallets of cased from stacker and wrap pallet by using stretch wrap machine

- Responsible for locating product in freezer and keeping freezer organized

- Make dumpsters available and empty when necessary

- Remove empty totes from the dump towers

- Remove unused pallets and various supplies from depal area, returning to designated area in warehouse

- Place pallet ticket on each finished pallet

- Help out wherever and however supervisor needs you

Requirements for Forklift:

- High school diploma/GED equivalent preferred

- Forklift driving experience required

- Ability to read and understand English and basic math skills

- Excellent communication skills

- Ability to work in cold temps, below freezing, as needed

- Ability to apply common sense to understand and carry out detailed written or oral instructions

- Required to sit, stand, walk as needed during 8+ hours shift

- Required to be able to lift and/or move up to 70lbs as needed

- Must be able to regularly get off lift to wrap and ticket products

- Ability to use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls

- Ability to lift products above head/shoulders
