Job description

Position Description: We are looking for a Forklift Operator aka an iSi Batman. We need your help to rid the community of hazardous and/or nonhazardous waste as well as provide recyclable materials management services to iSi clients. You will have your very own Batmobile (a forklift) to perform your superhero duties. Don't make us put the bat signal out, Apply today! Position Responsibilities: Transport hazardous/non-hazardous waste and recyclable material at a client facility Respond to trouble calls Comply with safety policies and procedures Operate forklift, tug and other heavy equipment safely and effectively Stage and inventory waste containers throughout client facility Ensure integrity of waste containers Participate in spill response Move and inspect full waste containers or those that have reached the regulatory limit Prepare containers for off site shipment Manage waste in centralized storage area by segregating by waste type, emptying containers into a roll-off, and compacting waste in roll-off Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Team Environment - Strong team player Safety Equipment - Strong ability to work safely with equipment Preferred Skills & Abilities - Prior experience in the fields of warehouse or construction
Prior experience operating a forklift or other heavy equipment Customer Service - Strong customer service orientation Communication Skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills Certifications - 24-hour HAZWOPER (provided)
