Forklift Operator โ€“ Cold Environment Production Facility Location: Linden, NJ Shift: Day Shift | 5:00 AM Start

Important โ€” Cold Environment Notice This position operates in a refrigerated production environment ranging from 34โ€“38ยฐF, with freezer areas that drop below freezing. Candidates must be comfortable working in cold conditions for extended periods and are required to bring their own appropriate cold weather gear including thermals, layers, and gloves.

What You'll Be Doing

Operating Raymond Deep Reach trucks as the primary equipment โ€” this is the most critical skill for this role

Operating counterbalance and stand-up forklifts as needed

Moving product and materials throughout the production floor safely and efficiently

Following all GMP, food safety, and warehouse safety protocols

Participating in an in-house skills verification and training refresher upon start

What We're Looking For

Hands-on forklift experience โ€” deep reach truck experience is strongly preferred and highly coveted

Experience with counterbalance and/or stand-up forklifts

Prior experience in a cold storage, refrigerated warehouse, or food manufacturing environment strongly preferred

Ability to work in cold temperatures for the duration of the shift

Safety-conscious with a strong attention to detail

Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to a 5:00 AM start time

Forklift certification card preferred but not required โ€” all operators will undergo an on-site skills verification

Physical Requirements

Ability to work in cold environments (34โ€“38ยฐF and below freezing in freezer areas) for extended periods

Must provide own cold weather gear โ€” thermals, layers, insulated gloves

Must be able to stand, walk, and operate equipment for the duration of the shift
