Job description

We are seeking a Forge Operator to join a local machine shop on the south side of Milwaukee for a direct hire.

Pay: $25-30/HR

Description:

In the next 6 months, we hope to add more automation to our cells and take the need from two operators down to one operator in a cell that would have to have knowledge of how to set up the robot, insure that the robot is operating correctly and consistently, and managing the specific steps in the process to create the part. Also, there needs to be consistent and confident awareness of what should be done if a machine sounds different or what to immediately do if a step is missed. It still requires a lot of time on your feet and the work can be considered repetitive.

3rd cell: stepping stone moving from 2 people to 1 person in automation. Robot doing the majority of the work.

We primarily received forge operators from other staffing agencies or by word of mouth.
