Job Description

International Banking organization seeks Administrative Assistant at Los Angeles Corporate Banking Office, CA. The position provides administrative support to Relationship Managers, maintains customer information, conducts KYC processes, coordinates loan and deposit processes, aggregate data for Japanese Corporate Banking customers and collaborates with Bank's other departments to complete customer account related tasks. Conduct KYC processes and collaborate with Planning and Compliance Department to complete customer account related tasks. Provide a high level of service to Japanese Corporate Banking customers and maintain customer information in various databases. Assist customers in opening accounts and CMS and deposit business inquiries. Assist customers to arrange daily funding, Cayman deposit and other transactions. Provide administrative support for Bank's Relationship Managers. Provide support to the LA Market Trader for FX transactions. Provide information necessary to prepare credit applications and memos. Prepare CMS and forex documents, brochures and proposals. Provides support to LA branch with general office administrative duties. Aggregate the customer data.

Requirements:

  • Business level Japanese and English fluency
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of KYC and compliance procedures
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Problem solving ability to provide effective solutions to internal and external clients
  • Cross cultural skills to liaise Japanese customers and Non-Japanese Bank staff to ensure seamless customer service
  • Good team player and have sense of responsibility
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills both in Japanese and English
  • Well organized with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Excellent attention to detail
