Summary
Performs all duties of the Staff Radiologic position with additional responsibilities for being competent in CAT scan, Special Procedures and Surgical Imaging Procedures. Under the general supervision of the Radiologist, conducts daily operations of the CAT scan and/or Special Procedures Department to include venipuncture for contrast injections.

Minimum Education/Experience
Certificate of completion from college or vocational school Successful completion of a Radiologic Technologist Program (College or Institutional Program) approved by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT). The college program will grant a minimum of an Associateโs Degree (A.S.) or Radiologic Technology program or equivalent.
1-2 years relevant experience
Required Licenses/Certifications
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Radiography (ARRT-R)
Computed Tomography (CT)
California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT)
Nevada Radiologic Technologist (not limited license)
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
BLS: Employee will be enrolled in the Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) Basic Life Support (BLS) Entry or Prep Curriculum (depending on their previous BLS certification).
