What You'll Do

  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, incontinence care, transfers, and ambulation
  • Provide meal preparation, medication reminders, shopping, laundry, and light housekeeping
  • Support daily activities and exercises as directed by the Plan of Care
  • Observe and report changes in client condition
  • Build positive relationships with clients and families while delivering exceptional care

Qualifications

  • Required: Valid California driver's license and current auto insurance - driving may be necessary in this role
  • Required: Experience working with older adults and/or physically disabled individuals
  • Required: Professional caregiver experience, nursing student clinical experience, or active CNA certification required
  • Preferred: Active HCA registration (Home Care Aide)
  • Preferred: 6 months professional caregiving experience
  • BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
