Essential Functions
Position Responsibilities
Project Management
โ€ข Lead and manage all phases of competitive intelligence projects including initial setup, data gathering, analysis and strategic analysis
โ€ข Act as primary point of contact for clients on assigned projects taking ownership for creating a strong and enduring relationship built on trust
โ€ข Take a lead role in the creation and implementation of client workshops when included in the project deliverables
โ€ข Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed to exceed client expectations and according to scope
โ€ข Organize work and manage timelines overseeing assigned clients, projects and deliverables
โ€ข Financial responsibilities include monitoring budgets against revenue targets and supporting achievement of the COE goals
โ€ข Collaborate with CI and cross-functional leadership to ensure alignment across work streams as well as continuity of support between CI offerings and other Trinity engagements
Insight Generation
โ€ข Drive analysis and story development / "so-what's" for our clients
โ€ข Deliver/present competitive intelligence content to clients in a compelling way, facilitating discussion and continued exploration of what we can do to better position our clients' products for success.
โ€ข Cover key conferences, attending key sessions and performing high-quality human-source elicitation in an ethical manner
People Management
โ€ข Train and manage more junior level staff across projects, including both CI-focused team members and cross-functional staff supporting CI
โ€ข Serve as a subject matter expert for CI methodology and best practices across Trinity to train and upskill team members across all roles
Business Development
โ€ข Collaborate with the client teams in Commercial Strategy to mine for opportunities and execute and track required follow-ups
โ€ข Identifying sales opportunities with existing clients (as appropriate)
โ€ข Aid in proposal development and competitive intelligence program design
Position Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree required. Advanced degree preferred.
Work Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in competitive intelligence, consulting, or other relevant areas within the life sciences industry.
Other Skills:
โ€ข Enthusiasm for working collaboratively in a dynamic, team-based environment, managing junior staff and communicating effectively with senior level staff
โ€ข Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
โ€ข Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
โ€ข Well versed in pharmaceutical industry including global healthcare systems
โ€ข Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; working knowledge of relational databases is a plus
โ€ข Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
โ€ข Strong data visualization and slide development skills
โ€ข Excellent strategic synthesis skills
โ€ข Solid business acumen and marketing orientation
โ€ข Entrepreneurial spirit and go-getter mentality

Trinity's salary bands account for a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets and market demand for skills; level of experience and training; specific qualifications, performance, time in role/company, geographic location, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $136,000 - $204,000. In addition to your base salary, you will also be eligible for an annual discretionary performance bonus.
