Aspirus Health in WAUSAU, WI is seeking a DIRECTOR- SYSTEM BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE AND ANALYTICS to join our BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE team!
The Director - System Business Intelligence and Analytics is a high-impact, strategic leader responsible for architecting and executing our enterprise analytics strategy to transition our organization from traditional reporting to a sophisticated, data-driven ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy and technical innovation, overseeing the modernization of our analytics stack and the elevation of our data maturity. You will lead the Analytics and Data Science, Data Architecture and Development functions within Business Intelligence to deliver actionable insights that solve complex business challenges, optimize clinical and operational quality, and drive fiscal efficiency.
Experience/Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Information Technology or related field.
  • Master's Degree in Business Intelligence, Business Analytics, Computer Science or related field highly desired.
  • Minimum seven years of leading and developing a Business Intelligence/Data Science/Analytics team.
  • Experience in developing and implementing an enterprise analytics vison and strategy, and outstanding team capabilities.
  • Experience in identifying and implementing best practices that drive automation and machine learning capabilities.
  • Minimum five years of health care analytics experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with Epic's Cogito environment and reporting tools such as Radar, Workbench, etc.
  • Cloud Architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP) experience and/or certification.
  • Demonstrated experience in data visualization techniques and best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience with AI-enabled analytics such as Genie's or others.
  • Demonstrated experience with AI-enabled data governance workflows.
  • Demonstrated experience with near real-time and real-time data best practices for ingestion, pipelines, and audit balance controls.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; particularly effective in communicating complex concepts in a concise, easy to understand manner.
  • Comfortable and effective when presenting to senior executives.
  • Skilled at forming insights from market, business, and clinical analytics.
  • Possesses outstanding combination of business acumen, inquisition, and detailed analytics skills.
  • Annual competencies as required by Aspirus and/or various regulatory agencies based on entity and/or job position.
