We are hiring an Associate Director, Scheduling in Nashville, TN to lead scheduling services for a large-scale, complex transportation infrastructure program.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting large-scale transportation, transit, or other complex infrastructure projects, with expertise in developing and managing integrated project schedules.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Promote opportunities for repeat business and create highly favorable references through the effective coordination, administration and communication of project tasks.
  • Provide earn value management.
  • Support Project Managers with quality project schedules at appropriate levels of detail for proposed and on-going projects.
  • Gain and maintain the trust and respect of internal team members and stakeholders.
  • Develop, monitor, status and resolve negative impacts to schedule critical paths.
  • Provide guidance on design issues, client concerns and code issues.
  • Lead project managers, design and contractors on monthly project progress of work.
  • Develop and maintain project risk assessments, qualitative and quantitative.
  • Manage the development of critical monthly progress reports.
  • Participate in design verifications and construction site walks.
  • Support efforts to collect, integrate and report key project data.
  • Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules.
  • Oversee the performance of forensic scheduling analysis.
  • Development of risk management plan, using crystal ball, PRA.
  • Review resource and cost loading of schedules as needed.
  • Bring new business opportunities to the firm through performance excellence and positive client relationship management.
  • Contributes to and monitors scope control, change management and associated implications to project cost and scheduling, escalating when appropriate.
  • Provide mentorship to mentorship, coaching and development to direct reports and junior team members.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Attendance at work during normal business hours.

Knowledge & Skills Required:

  • Ability to move from project focus to business mentality by showing potential for leadership and outstanding competence in service delivery.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of developing and maintaining project risk assessments (qualitative and quantitative).
  • Experience managing a larger project team or multiple project teams or whole program.
  • Knowledge of 4D/5D modeling.
  • Experience with forensic scheduling analysis of construction or engineering projects independently.
  • Experience with estimate validation and adjustments and comparative cost analyses.
  • Knowledge of Pre- and Post-Construction cost audits and valuations.
  • Experience performing detailed cost and schedule analyses.
  • Knowledge of project document control.
  • ability to provide forensic scheduling analysis of construction or engineering projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop high-level logic driven schedules.
  • Utilize effective written and oral communication skills.

The salary range for this full-time role is $115,700.00-$161,966.69 per year. Cumming Group reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on a candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications, including client requirements.
