Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Facility:
Stein Forensic Hospital ( Las Vegas, NV)
Type: Full-time
Schedule: Thursday-Monday 7:00am-3:30pm (40 hours weekly)
Hourly Rate: $20.00
Position Overview
Reliable Health Care Services is seeking qualified and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide patient care at Stein Forensic Hospital, a maximum-security inpatient psychiatric facility. CNAs will assist individuals by supporting activities of daily living activities.Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility, and feeding
  • Observe, monitor, and report patient behaviors, mood changes, and physical condition to nursing staff
  • Support patients in maintaining personal hygiene and a clean, safe living environment
  • Assist nursing staff with routine clinical tasks within CNA scope of practice
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility and state
  • requirements
  • Adhere to all safety, infection control, and security protocols
  • Respond appropriately to psychiatric behaviors, de-escalation needs, and emergency situations under the direction of licensed staff
Qualifications:
  • Active Nevada CNA license in good standing
  • Minimum of 1 year of CNA experience preferred; psychiatric, behavioral health, correctional, or inpatient experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and observant in a behavioral health environment
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and reliability
  • Ability to successfully complete drug and fingerprint based background screening
