This position will support general biology laboratory instruction with an emphasis on anatomy and some physiology courses.

The position also is responsible for maintaining our prosectorium. Hours are Monday-Friday; 40 hours per week. Selected candidate must be willing to adjust work days/hours based on the department's needs.

- Demonstrated competence in laboratory techniques and using and maintaining equipment commonly required for community college laboratories in general biology OR anatomy OR physiology. - Demonstrated competence in the application of laboratory safety guidelines involving the preparation and handling of materials and chemicals used in anatomy OR physiology labs, including proper handling, storage and disposal of chemical, biological, and hazardous wastes. - Demonstrated competence working with and maintaining cadavers and embalming materials.

- The skill to order, receive, organize and inventory supplies, as well as the ability to plan and organize to meet work schedules and deadlines for multiple course sections. - The ability to train, direct and provide support for laboratory professionals and student staff. - The utilization of standard office and web-based technology applications as needed or required.

- The ability to work independently with little direction. - The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. - Skills to establish and maintain effective collaborative working relationships with others to ensure a safe and equitable work environment.
