The engineer will be supporting a lab environment providing support for customers developing and testing experiments. This position will support one of our government clients in Fort Meade, MD. Minimum Qualifications * Bachelor's degree plus 5-years of relevant experience, or Master's degree plus 3-years of relevant experience or an Associate's degree plus 7-years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 9-years of relevant experience may be considered. * Degree must be in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology or related field. * Must have an IAT-I certification, such as Security + CE. * Relevant experience must be in computer or information systems design/development, programming, information/cyber/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance and/or systems engineering. Additionally, must have experience in network or system administration. * Strong Linux experience * Experience in systems/network administration, application administration, and/or information technology support or management. * Experience supporting hardware installation, such as servers and network infrastructure. * Experience setting up storage such as network‐attached storage. * Experience implementing security best practices to include PKI certificate generation, deployment and maintenance. * Knowledge of Unix shell scripting languages like Bash, Bourne, or C Preferred Qualifications * Experience deploying and maintaining nginx * Familiarity with Docker and RedHat Satellite   * Familiarity with cloud computing environments like AWS * Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) products like Terraform, SALT and Ansible as well as system monitoring platforms like Prometheus and Grafana * Experience with SELinux and FIPS $128,000 - $143,000 a year The ARSIEM pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
