Our services include a state-of-the-art psychiatric urgent care center and a soon-to-be-built pediatric behavioral health center, outpatient, inpatient, partial hospitalization (day programs), assessment and testing, residential, addiction treatment and specialty services such as crisis response, employee assistance programs, forensic psychiatry and psychology, and neuromodulation. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide physical and emotional care to patients with mental illness or developmental delays
  • Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and participate in crisis interventions, safety monitoring, and de-escalation
  • Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, etc.)
  • Document and report patient behaviors, progress, medications, and safety concerns
  • Support individual treatment plans and a recovery-focused, person-centered approach
  • Facilitate group activities, skill-building, and patient education
  • Perform unit and household duties (cleaning, laundry, meal prep)
  • Escort and transport patients to appointments and community outings
  • Conduct safety checks, searches, and drug testing as needed
  • Role model Pine Rest's mission, values, and professionalism, assist in training, and perform basic administrative tasks

Education & Experience
  • Minimum 6 months post-secondary education in behavioral sciences or equivalent (preferred)
  • CNA certification or 1-2 years of college coursework (preferred)

The equivalent base pay range for this position is $15.57 - $21.79. Your interview and offer letter will specify whether the role is hourly or salaried. Please note that this range does not include potential shift differentials, incentives, or bonuses, which may be part of the total compensation package. Final base pay will be determined based on location, experience, education, certifications, and FTE status.
