Job description

ClearHorizon Forensic & Counseling Group is a multidisciplinary behavioral health and forensic mental health practice serving individuals throughout Virginia. We specialize in substance abuse counseling, mental health assessments, forensic and psychosexual assessments, and support services to individuals and families. Our team works collaboratively with courts, probation and parole departments, attorneys, and state and community agencies.

We are seeking a Certified Sex Offender Treatment Provider (CSOTP) to join our team. This is a hybrid position with in-person opportunities in Front Royal, VA, and telehealth availability.

Position Overview

The CSOTP will provide specialized therapeutic services to individuals involved in the criminal justice system, including clients participating in court-ordered or probation-related treatment. This position is well suited for a clinician who is comfortable working with forensic populations, structured treatment programming, and multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual sex offender-specific treatment services
  • Facilitate structured, evidence-informed therapeutic programming
  • Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor client progress
  • Maintain communication and collaboration with probation, parole, courts, and other referral sources as appropriate
  • Participate in case consultation and multidisciplinary coordination
  • Maintain professional, ethical, and confidentiality standards
  • Complete required reports and treatment recommendations
Qualifications
  • Active Certified Sex Offender Treatment Provider (CSOTP) credential required
  • Virginia clinical licensure
  • Experience working with justice-involved, forensic, or court-referred populations preferred
  • Strong clinical documentation, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team
  • Comfortable providing both in-person and telehealth services
