QUEBEC CITY (NATIONAL CAPITAL) The Résidence des Franciscains, located in the Montcalm district of Quebec City, is a private retirement residence with 40 rooms entirely dedicated to a semi-autonomous clientele with cognitive impairments such as Alzheimer's, or other cognitive losses. Administrative/Accounting Technician is a key role within our residence that goes far beyond numbers - come and join our team of dedicated hearts! Desired profile: A smiling, versatile, organized, dynamic, rigorous person who is passionate about numbers and human beings. Tasks and responsibilities: Invoice entry, supplier payments, accounts receivable tracking and deposits; Keep accounting records up to date; Posting entries, bank reconciliation (monthly financial statements) see the balancing of the accounting system; Make the various government remittances if applicable; Reporting every 3 months; To carry out and ensure the filing of various documents; Personnel file management, payroll processing with Employer D, monitoring of time banks, vacations, illnesses, CNESST etc (non-unionized employees); CNESST salary declaration; Statements 31 of residents; Administrative support to the general management; Qualifications and skills required: Rigour, discretion, organisational skills, analytical skills, autonomy; Significant experience in RPA, RI, or CHSLD (an asset); DEP, AEC or DEC in accounting, administration or office administration or equivalent relevant experience; Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); Proficiency in accounting software; (Sage an asset); Employer D payroll management system, (an asset); Benefits : Permanent position, 32 and 35 hours/week (Flexible schedule); Salary between $25 and $28 per hour depending on relevant experience; Meals provided; Paid leave; Recognition program; Free parking; Public transport nearby; Friendly & welcoming environment Target start date: Mid-May 2026
