Brasfield & Gorrie is actively seeking experienced commercial carpenter helpers for full-time work in Nashville and surrounding areas. If you’re skilled in commercial carpentry, and you take pride in your craft, we have long-term projects ready for you.

Key Responsibilities 

Concrete Carpenter Helpers 

  • Assist in constructing and assembling formwork systems for concrete foundations, walls, columns, and slabs 
  • Removal and wrecking of formwork after concrete has cured 
  • Help skilled carpenters with various tasks such as measuring, cutting, and assembling wood and other building materials 
  • Transport materials to and from the work area, ensuring that carpenters have all necessary materials at hand 

General Carpenter Helpers 

  • Assist Carpenters in the building, installation, and maintenance of handrails and temporary enclosures 
  • Help with the installation of interior blocking, doors, frames, and hardware 
  • Install interior protections, floor coverings, and waterproofing 

Education - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum of 1-year commercial carpentry experience required

  • Perform work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
