Job description

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Legal Assistant role based in Boca Raton, FL, specializing in Plaintiff's foreclosure matters. The role will support attorneys by preparing and reviewing legal documents, managing case files, performing administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth office operations. The role also involves regular communication with clients, reviewing case details, and managing deadlines to ensure compliance and efficiency.


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mortgage foreclosure and creditor's rights litigation. The primary responsibility of this individual will involve pre-judgment matters, including document default, affidavit, and motion preparation. The candidate should have an understanding of docket review, civil procedure, and the ability to comply with various court imposed rules and deadlines.


This individual will communicate frequently with firm clients and, vendors.


Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to lawyers
  • Handle communication with clients


Qualifications

  • Experience in legal field a must ***please do not apply if you have not worked in a law office previously***
  • Familiarity with foreclosure law, docket review, legal procedures, and protocols
  • Prior experience with a Plaintiff's foreclosure/creditor's firm preferred
